What is a typical day like for you? Describe it.
As a 20-year mortgage banker, I actually have two jobs, and I love them both. I have my 5am job – waking up and working on new things to enhance my offerings – videos, websites, cutting-edge calculators, and things that let me express my business creativity. I then use these new things to help me serve my clients at a high-level in my day job – the service of my delightful home financing clients from 9 to 5. 😊
What do you do in your time off?
I’m 6’7” tall and a bit of a basketball nut. I’m an 8-year season ticket holder for Atlanta’s NBA team, the Atlanta Hawks, and my daughter and I are in the midst of a multi-year hoops mega-goal. That is, we are traveling around the country to see our Hawks play in every other NBA arena in the league. This will take us to 30 other cities, and thus far when have been to 18 road games with the Hawks.
How are you different than others in your profession?
I think in a past life I must have been a teacher because I truly enjoy answering questions and educating my clients on the most important aspects of financing a home. First-time buyers are especially rewarding to work with, and when post-closing reviews come back to me and the word “personable” is mentioned over and over, it lets me know I’m on the right track – serving first with my heart and making the entire process an enjoyable one.
