A Lesson I Learned While Pruning Our Trees
We have a couple of Bradford Pear trees in our front and backyard. If you’ve ever had them, you know how quickly they grow — and how vulnerable they can be in a storm if they’re not cared for properly.
Once the leaves had fallen, we decided it was the right time to have them pruned. I reached out to about five vendors for quotes.
Here’s what surprised me:
- A couple never responded.
- A couple responded… days later.
- One vendor immediately insisted we cut down two trees — without really listening to what we wanted or asking why we were pruning in the first place.
And that’s when it clicked.
