Throughout my 26-year career in lending, there have been many ups and downs, but the one constant has been real estate as an investment. I have assisted countless investors in building a portfolio of rental properties. Even in lean times, investing in real estate has been and continues to be wise. The goal is to obtain the property now before prices climb due to low inventory and high demand. And then, when rates drop, it’s time to refinance to increase cash flow. I have seen a substantial increase in the investment market over the last 90 days. In fact, I just closed a loan for one investor, who is now utilizing our Banks bridge loan product to buy a second investment property, because he sees that the now is the time to buy.
