Q&A with Joy Brown

What do you enjoy doing on the weekends?

I love water, so more times than not you can find me at the lake or ocean!! Water is just so calming and peaceful, and I love sunrise and sunsets! My family is the most important thing to me, I have two grown children and three grandchildren that I could not live without!! I love sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs!!! I am born and raised here in Atlanta and have lived in Georgia my entire life.

Who is someone you admire and why?

My Dad, he worked three jobs to make sure that his family was taken care of. We never knew if we were rich or poor!

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? Why?

Hairdresser, I loved to play with my dolls and style their hair!

Bio of Joy Brown

Joy Brown has worked in the mortgage industry for 38 years. She began her career in 1980 as a processor and worked her way up thru processing to underwriting, and has been a loan officer since 2001. This wide range of experience makes her a true mortgage expert.
