Q&A with Shawn Stufflebeam

What makes you different than others in your profession?

I have a genuine interest in economics, and the way the world's markets relate to, and interact with one another. I enjoy looking for the underlying financial issues driving the news we read every day. Before becoming an originator, I worked for a real estate appraisal company for several years.

What do you enjoy doing on the weekend?

I enjoy hiking the Georgia countryside with my family and friends. I also enjoy the many opportunities to practice home repairs on my old house.

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire my father, who quietly overcame great personal tragedy and poverty to build a better life and home for me and my family growing up.

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? Why?

When I was 10 years old, I wanted to be Han Solo - for all the obvious reasons.

Bio of Shawn Stufflebeam

Shawn has worked in the mortgage industry since 2001. His goal is to provide top-notch service based on his clients’ specific needs, desires and concerns. He focuses on developing long-term relationships with both clients and referral partners, and is proud of his extensive repeat business. Shawn recognizes that most borrowers are unfamiliar with the loan process, which is why he believes in spending as much time as necessary to understand his clients’ unique situations.

A truly caring team who made me feel supported at every step. I had the pleasure of working with Shawn Stufflebeam and It was an amazing experience, he was efficient, knowledgeable and precise & confident in his role. I purchased homes in the past but i never had the one on one hands on approach as i did with Shawn, he made sure we had constant communication to keep me abreast on every step and detail and that was reassuring.
