What made you decide to be a BankSouth Loan Officer?
I decided on a career in the mortgage business because I have always been interested in the financial aspect of buying a home. I’ve always wanted to help people achieve their financial goals and increase financial literacy.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I’m extremely proud of obtaining my Masters of Business Administration degree. That has always been a long term goal of mine that I achieved in 2020. I’m also extremely proud of being selected to and serving on the University of West Georgia alumni board. I am most proud of the work I do with the nonprofit organization, “Behind The Lights” that teaches financial literacy, mental health skills, and social media awareness to the youth off of the baseball and softball fields.
List 1-3 reasons you’re different than others in your profession
I am different than others in my profession because I have worn many different hats. I’ve worked positions in operations such as loan processor and conducted many duties in the auto process that are critical for loans to close. I’ve also worked roles in sales as a loan officer assistant and production partner. My experience in seeing many steps in the mortgage process sets me apart from others and gives me the knowledge to be forward thinking in order to provide the best service for my clients.
